Pope Francis will be visiting Washington D.C. next Thursday, September 24, to give a speech to a Joint Session of Congress. My office has standing-room tickets for spectators to watch the address on jumbotrons on the West Lawn of the Capitol. After his speech, the Pope is expected to make an appearance on the Speaker’s Balcony, which looks out to the West Lawn.
